On the MusicBiz Night I met Kevin McGue that is shooting the "Live House" - an upcoming documentary film on live houses (small punk rock bars) in Japan and elsewhere in Asia.

From Kevin:

"There are over 1000 live houses in Japan, 300 in Tokyo alone, and it is not surprising to meet a music fan who goes to live houses 2 or 3 times a week. "Live House" the film will trace the roots of punk rock in Japan, and cover live house culture in Japan, and as a cultural export to China and Korea."
